Work heavy week. It seems that almost every week is work heavy, but I'm usually not doing overtime which is good. Burnout left its marks but I'm managing. Sometime I even indulge in work its just that I have less energy. Almost every day I went for a walk to get some fresh air. One day it was raining so I stayed at home and kinda enjoyed that change. I even bought Dawn of War RTS game for a few euros to spent my time during evenings.
Another day I watched a horror movie The Ritual, It wasn't too bad. Also found another great beer from Nova Runda - Nivelator Hazy American IPA. I still don't fully understand the difference between IPA and Hazy IPA and I don't care. Color was bit repelling for a beer, too opaque and looked more like a juice, but taste was awesome. I think Nova Runda already surpassed Garden Brewery on my list it just that Garde Brewery has most beautiful place get and drink it. One day I've also visited Garden Brewery as well got a Milkshake IPA and spend about hour on a phone with my father. Beer was average IPA.
This week I've visited a bookshop to get one book that was on my radar for a longer time. Finding it was a hassle, I had to ask an employee to help me and he had to ask two more. Given book is Autocracy Inc. by Anne Applebaum where each noun starts with A one would expect it to be at the beginning of a shelve. But this is Balkan baby. Took me about 20minutes and them about another 20mins to find it.
For a long time It didn't happened that I got absorbed by a book and I'd never say that Its possible with contemporary global politics. I get older I guess.
Anyway this week I also tried to fix skipping smallest gear on my bike and have to gave it up. It must be a different problem not just a cable tension. I was a bit disappointed even sad from my failed attempt and the fact that I wasn't able to fix it. But components do wear out and I'll have to replace it in a worst case. I just thought that I won't happen so early. It seems that smallest cog on my cassette is causing the issues this time.
This week I've also created Term Account and finally resolved how to separate untouchable money reserve for my future fixed costs. At the end of the week I was traveling to Makarska. Trip was fine, this time I didn't catch any dangerous moments on the road like the last time. Overtourism in Makarska was in its full form, weather was good but colder than expected in this time of the year. It was actually very pleasant.
