Storytime
Easter Monday - public holiday we went on a hike. The destination was Kotišina. It was very calm and peaceful up there. Houses were usually unoccupied. We saw a lot of new modern villas with a great view. Sun was already burning. People used to live there before they moved down to coast.
Next day we traveled back to Zagreb.
On Wednesday I've managed to visit The Garden Brewery, which I really liked but its bit out of hand = about 20 min by bicycle. I'll definitely visit it again. Beer was good and place is very nice, spacious and full of greenery as the name suggest. By the way I've noticed also The Hive - Climbing space. For a long time I plan to try bouldering so now I know where.
Weather got worse and the rest of the week it was raining, therefore evenings I've spent either working, studying or reading. I've did some programming as well after long time and managed to spend some time studying Croatian Language.
Sunday was sunny again and after a little walk and coffee, I've decided to take a ride on Medvednica. After a solid climb I've reached the peak and followed planned route that was off road. Sloped wet forest path made me re-evaluate my plan and I've decided to turn around get back by the way I came there. Would be tough for a mountain bike there and I was on my gravel without suspension 34" tires. I've pushed back and quickly replanned route since some segments were out of signal. I've was already tired and I'd rely only on GPS. Anyway managed to get back and return home. This trip I've achieved second biggest climb according to Strava.

Observation
- Makarska was already full of tourists.
- Places uphill from coast are also used for tourist during the main season.
- Coffee places are suddenly empty when the weather is bad. There are almost no people around.
- Saw a few people that apparently visited nearby fitness. Should try that as well, especially when weather is like this.
- On Sunday I've noticed lots of yellow garbage bags on a street. This is how plastics are separated here and I don't really like it. Also there are no containers for aluminium.

Future
- Plan to visit Medvednica again and this time prepare a route better.
- I'd like to also make 80km trip but thats for the weekend
- Another shortened week ahead!
- Decided to work on my Croatian more. At least 2 times a week + 1 language exchange session
