Storytime
Bad weather improved in the middle of the week and I've took a chance to go for a bike. Went on west to outskirts of Zagreb until I've reached Sava and then accompanied it back on a way home. Met a very few people at the outskirts of Zagreb but as I've approached Jarun all changed. Place was very lively, people were doing all kinds of sports, jogging, rollerblading, cycling, and some just walking their dog.
The other day I've also peeked into Novi Zagreb. I've planned a short route but noticed interesting area so I've diverged to explore it. It was park Bundek that caught my attention. It reminded me of Prague's Stromovka. Full of people yet not crowded since its big with a lots of space. Trees, occasional sculptures and a lake at the center.
The amount of space, abundance of greenery, trees along the streets makes this place beautiful. That lovely smell of spring's nature is in the air as is the pollen though. We both are suffering heavily with the allergies now.
I regularly see big groups of people jogging together, mixed of all ages. Groups of dog owners meeting together. Groups of people grilling outside at the park or sitting on a bench and just talking and smoking. There is lots of space everywhere and its lively. Coffee places are crowded after work but even during working hours!
I really start to like it here.
This week Veronika and her friend Jakov brought some missing furniture and I'm fully settled work-wise.
On Sunday I traveled back to Prague have to show up at work (voluntarily) and have 3 doctors appointments.
Hotel is cheap, clean and at the good location. Night was calm.

Observation
- Lots of beautiful greenery, nature starts to bloom.
- Allergy is hitting us hard. Currently its Birches and Hornbeams.
- People spend their time outside together much more. Young and old.
- Housing blocks and neighborhoods are similar to ours (commie blocks), but these are functioning, lively, people spend their time outside.
- Each block has usually a coffee place and very often its crowded.
- To this day I didn't see drunken person. Smell of cannabis is common though.

Future
- Gonna visit a Prague for a while.
- Will have short vacation after.
